Safety is our No 1 business driver, our licence to operate and is central to our operations.

Morrison was the first company ever to win the RoSPA Construction Industry Sector award for two years in succession - 2005 and 2006. This achievement was based on our demonstration of a year-on-year progression in both safety management and the delivery of health and safety performance in the field. More recently, Morrison Utility Services was commended in the 2007 RoSPA awards whch translates into third place in the construction sector.

We were also the first UK utility service provider to receive OHSAS 18001 certification.

Our culture of ‘No Accident Behaviour’ is recognised by the Health and Safety Executive as best practice.  Everyone at Morrison stands firmly behind the statement, “Nothing in our business is so important, that we cannot take the time to do it safely.”

A decreasing accident frequency rate, consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards and ongoing improvements in our safety performance are just a few of our achievements.
