Description

Morrison Electric / Multi-utility partnership is currently operating in the United Utilities and Southern Scotland regions.
 
Morrison Utility Services have offices at Preston and Reddish in Manchester, with additional office and depot locations in Wrexham and Carlisle.  Morrison manage and operate two United Utility term contracts for multi-utility installations, and Gas Meter exchanges which cover the whole of United Utilities’ geographical area.
 
Morrison offer a full turnkey multi-lay package and are a United Utilities accredited supply partner enabling us to work on the power networks. 
 
Morrison have fully qualified senior authorised personnel, overhead linesmen and electric jointers, who complement the  65 multi-utility teams operating in the North West. In addition to the above, we also manage one-off projects for Scottish Power / MANWEB from these offices and other satellite depots.
 
Our workforce receives training to ensure they are able to undertake their specific or multiple duties. These may include:

• NRWSA
• Competence certificate
• GD certification
• NVQ Main laying, service laying, confined spaces
• Meter Installation. Morrison currently run a mobile meter installation training unit for surveyors/meter fitters

Our Multi Utility capability includes:

• Main / Service laying – Gas, Water, Electric & Telecom
• Underground cable construction, maintenance and repair; 11kV to 132kV
• Substation Works.  Construction, demolition and refurbishment.
• Jointing.  The service is primarily delivered in-house and with our extensive network of contacts within the Regional Electricity Companies.
• Ductwork.  Cable ducting and associated telemetry systems.
• Overhead line construction, maintenance and repair.  33kV and below.

Our services can be delivered on an individual or turnkey basis.
