Morrison pleased by strong Dun & Bradstreet Credit Rating Award
Morrison is pleased to announce that it has been classified a ‘Rating 1’ company by credit rating agency Dun & Bradstreet.
The award, made in July 2010, means that Morrison has been rated as a company with the highest level of creditworthiness and a minimum risk of financial failure. Dun & Bradstreet said of the award: "To have achieved this during one of the worst economic times in recent years is a fantastic accomplishment. Only 15% of all UK companies are in this category."
Commenting on the award, Morrison Chief Financial Officer, Nigel Howell, said: "We are pleased to have been categorised a Rating 1 company by Dun & Bradstreet. Morrison recognises the importance of being a sound, long-term partner for our clients and suppliers alike. We believe our financial strength reflects the care we take over our dealings with clients, tenants, suppliers, and staff and we value highly the firm foundation we have to continue serving the UK’s social housing sector.”
