Morrison Awarded 10 Year Maintenance Contract by Family Mosaic
Leading repairs and maintenance provider Morrison has been officially awarded a new multi-million pound contract by Family Mosaic.
The ten year contract, which has a 12 year extension option, will commence in August 2010 and is worth in the region of £190million. The contract is for the provision of cyclical maintenance works, including external and internal redecoration of communal areas, electrical and fire proofing works and window and roof repairs or replacement to Family Mosaic's 18,000 homes across 25 London Boroughs.
Guy Wakeley, Chief Executive, Morrison said: "This contract represents a new partnership between Morrison and Family Mosaic and we look forward to working with them to deliver an outstanding service to their residents.
"To date, this is our biggest deal this year and brings the total value of our business wins since January to over £380million; with a potential worth in excess of £816million subject to contract extensions. This is a phenomenal start to the year and has resulted in Morrison already surpassing its 2009 full order intake of £292million. This success also demonstrates the quality of our offering and commercial model in providing significant value to our clients.
"It also further secures our position as the largest specialist provider of repairs and maintenance in London and the South East, with 16 contracts now in operation across the region."
Brendan Sarsfield, Chief Executive, Family Mosaic said: "Family Mosaic is excited by the prospect of developing new long term sustainable relationships that will provide longer term value and a 'right first time' service for our customers."
Morrison will now work with Family Mosaic to mobilise the contract in preparation for its commencement in August.
