Thurrock Council has formally awarded its housing repairs contract to Morrison Facilities Services Ltd.

The decision to award the contract to Morrison was made at a Cabinet meeting in January this year, and following consultation, the contract was formalised today (Monday, 22 March).

Surrey based Rosebery Housing Association Limited has recently awarded a new long term multi million pound contract to leading repairs and maintenance provider Morrison.

Young adults in North Lanarkshire are being given the opportunity to try their hand at some basic DIY skills through a series of three day introductory painting, decorating and tiling courses.
