Charles Morrison - Managing Director

Prior to the merger of the Anglian Water and Morrison businesses, Charles was Managing Director of Morrison Asset Management, which comprised Utilities and Government Services. Charles has been responsible for the Utilities business for the last 14 years.

During his early career, Charles worked for BP on major construction projects throughout the UK and Europe. Over the last 20 years he has had extensive experience in all sectors of the utilities industry. Charles is a qualified Quantity Surveyor, having graduated from Napier University, Edinburgh. Charles is also a Fellow of the Institute of Cost Engineers.

Ian Cusden - Financial Director

Ian Joined Biggs Wall Ltd in 1984 as a Financial Accountant and then became Group Accountant for Shand Group in 1988. Following Morrison’s acquisition of the Shand Group in 1989, Ian then became a Regional Accountant .He joined the Executive Staff of Morrison Utility Services in 1992 and became Divisional Finance Manager in 1996. Ian has been in his current role as Finance Director since 1999. Ian is a Chartered Accountant.

Simon Isherwood - Business Development Director

Simon is a Chartered Civil Engineer and his early career was in project management roles in the Construction Industry. After completing a Marketing Diploma he moved into Business Development in the Utilities sector. Simon joined Morrison in 1996 and was promoted to Business Development Director in 1999.

Jim Winnicott - Commercial Director

Jim Winnicott joined Morrison in 1999 as Commercial Manager and was promoted to Commercial Director in 2001. Jim has overall responsibility for supply chain, estimating and IT functions whilst focussing on commercial pressure points, divisional governance and business risk minimisation.

Jim is a quantity surveyor by profession having previously worked for Tarmac Construction, Associated Asphalt and George Corderoy.

Adam Gosnold - Area Director (South)

Adam has been involved in all aspects of Utility Services for over 25 years having joined Morrison (then Biggs Wall Ltd) as a site based engineer. He progressed from Agent through a number of site management positions before being appointed to the executive staff in 1995. Since then Adam has been instrumental in the development of partnerships and long term relationships with key clients in the South of England, predominantly in the gas and water sectors. Appointed as Director in 1997 he is responsible for the Utility Services Southern Division based in Redhill, Surrey.

Jim Arnold - Area Director (Central)

Jim joined Morrison in 1998 from Southern Water having previously worked for Costain Civil Engineering and was appointed an Area Director in 2000. A Chartered Engineer with an MBA, Jim is based out of the Stevenage office.

John Coyne - Area Director (North)

John was first employed at Morrison in 1994 as a Construction Manager. In 1997 John was appointed Area Manager based at Wakefield/ Lincoln. John became Area Director in 1999 and is responsible for Utility Services (North) based from the Leeds office. John is a trained Quantity Surveyor and has over 28 years Utilities experience.

Mike Harrison - Divisional Director

Mike joined Morrison in 1997 as an Area Manager. He was appointed Director of Morrison Utilities (North) in 1998. Following the acquisition of Morrison by AWG Plc Mike was appointed Area Operations Director (West) in Anglian Water Services in 2001.
Mike is now Director of Morrison Utility Services with responsibility for Utility markets in Ireland and is also a Director of MorrisonTESL the specialist Telecoms service provider both in Ireland and the UK and for Morrison Wireless a service provider to the mobile telephone sector.
Previously Mike has worked for Tolent Construction, Balfour Beatty and Harbour & General.

Jeremy Harrison - Plant Director

Jeremy started his career with Biggs Wall Ltd in 1981, based at Arlesey, and held several positions within the Plant Division until 1995, when he left to pursue a career elsewhere within the Transport Hire Industry. Jeremy returned to Morrison in 1998 as the Area Plant Manager for the North of England and was appointed Director of Morrison Plant Services in 2003.

Jeremy has over twenty years experience in the Plant and Transport Hire Industry, is a Member of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers and the Society of Operations Engineers. Jeremy is based in Castleford.
