Morrison News

Morrison News was launched at the start of 2007.  This newsletter has come about after a far-reaching communications review carried out towards the end of 2006.

This review showed that there was not enough effective communication around the company, and in particluar many of the employees were not fully informed of the successes of Morrison, nor of its overall strategy, vision and values.

With the arrival of Steve Johnson the new Managing Director,  and a far greater emphasis on communications taken by the management team, it was decided to launch a new publication.

This newsletter replaces the old AWG/Morrison flip-over magazine and integrates into it some of the current divisional newsletters.  It has a brand new format, and stories from all parts of the business - covering Facilities Services, Utility Services and all of the various joint ventures around the country.

The stories that make up the newsletter are about the employees of Morrison and are largely written by them.  The editors, Ash Ryan from Facilities Services and Lisa Knights from Utility Services want all employees to see this as their newsletter and would welcome news and pictures from everyone.

Morrison News is part of the drive to communicate more widely to all employees and to ensure that Morrison clients, their customers and employees, see the vision and values of the company in action.
