MORRISON TAMWORTH
Sheltered Housing Fun Day
Morrison was invited to attend a Sheltered Housing Fun Day organised by Tamworth Borough Council on Wednesday 8th April 09 at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms.
Because the day was aimed at Elderly residents, Tamworth Morrison decided to roll out their Bogus Caller Project. This project is to inform the residents of the importance of checking and asking for ID cards before allowing callers into their property. This also runs in line with the Passport to Work, as all staff, operatives and Sub contractors on every contract must go through the passport to work scheme resulting in an ID card being issued to all employees on completion.
Leaflets were distributed at the event highlighting the Bogus Caller project, these leaflets featured a picture of Morrison’s ID cards that are used and gave a free phone number for Tenants to call if they had any doubt.
Ron Read, Rebecca Groucott and Tracey Brindley attended the Fun day, a good day was had by all and Morrison received some really good feedback from both the Client and the Tamworth Tenants both saying how happy they were with the service Morrison has provided.
Throughout the day, Job requests were taken from the Tenants which were loaded onto the system to carry out.
The Lord Mayor and Mayoress Mr Brian and Valerie Beale attended the day and commented that they hear good reports from the local people about Morrison.
