MORRISON SOUTHWARK
Southwark Offices Open In Style
Morrison's Southwark team celebrated the opening of its new offices by hosting a special open morning for key delegates from Southwark Council, including Councillor Kim Humphreys the Deputy Leader and Executive Member for Housing for the London Borough of Southwark who kindly opened the new offices for Morrison.
The open morning, which was hosted by Mark Drury, Partnering Director and Stuart Corne, Partnering Manager, provided an ideal opportunity for ten delegates from Southwark council to have a guided tour of the new facilities and to meet some of the operations team in person.
The offices, which are located on Glengall Road, are now home to the Southwark contract, providing improved office and meeting space, a communal canteen and a better working environment for the whole team.
Stuart Corne, Partnering Manager, said: "The new offices have made a real difference to all the staff and the extra space means we can operate in a more effective and comfortable environment, that the whole team can take pride in."
The open morning was rounded off by the unveiling of a commemorative plaque to mark the event by Councillor Humphreys and our Chief Executive Guy Wakeley.
Mark Drury, Partnering Director, said: "We are very proud of our new offices and we felt they should be properly commemorated to mark our move to Glengall Road and Morrison's continued commitment to working in Southwark.
"The event went very well and we were really pleased to have so many guests from Southwark in attendance on the day. It also provided a great opportunity for our staff to meet our client and talk about their role on the contract."
