MORRISON REDBRIDGE
Redbridge Takes the Lead at Tenants Second Annual Conference
On Saturday 10th October, Morrison Redbridge played a key role at the tenant’s conference organised by Redbridge Homes.
The conference, held at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Newbury Park, proved to be a roaring success, with over one hundred people attending. One of the highlights of the first half of the programme contained a presentation from Sharon Standell, Chief Executive of Redbridge Homes. Residents were informed of Redbridge Homes plan for re-inspection by the Audit Commission in February 2010. The TSA (Tenant Services Authority) also provided tenants with information on the TSA taking over the monitoring of all ALMO’s (Arms Length Management Organisations), including Redbridge Homes from April 2010.
As the morning progressed, Morrison delivered a key presentation explaining how quality and improvements that have been made to the service are assessed. Photographic examples of work that could have been improved were shown, along with examples of the high standards that Morrison operatives are expected to adhere to.
The afternoon session delivered a series of workshops which Morrison helped facilitate, comprising of two sessions, both of which were very well received due to their informative nature. One group were given the opportunity to discuss how the accuracy of the repairs reporting can help jobs to be dealt with in a sole visit. The second group of residents were given the opportunity to view a variety of different materials that are to be used within the kitchen refurbishment programme, which served to make the work Morrison does accessible and understandable to all attendees.
Congratulations to all the Morrison employees who helped make the tenants conference such an interesting and engaging event!
