Lighthouse Liverpool

The Lighthouse Liverpool is a charitable organisation who engages with a wide range of community issues including tackling unemployment by training young people for industry. Morrison’s material suppliers Wolseley recently responded to a request from the North Mersey Riverside contract to provide materials to the value of £1,100 so that lighthouse could make a start to put together a construction training facility in a disused church in the Anfield area of the city

Morrison Riverside in Liverpool started a furniture recycling scheme. This works when properties become void and require clearing, we then contacted Liverpool lighthouse who have a charity shop outlet that goes to fund the good work that they do in the local community. Hundreds of pounds are raised each month by recycling furniture and other household goods that would otherwise go to a tip.
