MORRISON LAMBETH

Lambeth Supply Chain

Morrison recently demonstrated an excellent example of joint collaboration with its supply chain working on the Lambeth contract. Repairs and general maintenance were carried out on a ‘no charge’ basis to the Palace Community Centre as a community development initiative.

The Palace is a haven for children and residents and provides essential social, cultural and educational facilities to disadvantaged communities in Streatham which are almost entirely dependent on private enterprise for funding and the sustainability of the centre.

Morrison is extremely proud of its close association with Fahey Roofing and Norwood Scaffolding and are grateful to them for their generous contribution to the community.

The cost to Fahey Roofing for repairing the roof is £785.00 and the scaffolding provided by Norwood Scaffolding would have cost the Centre £900.00 Without the generous contribution and assistance of these two subcontractors the repairs to the roof would not have been possible, both subcontractors waived all charges as a good will gesture as they are pleased to be associated with a Centre that provides activities to and for the local community.

Morrison would like to say a big thank you to Danny McElroy, Morrison roofing and scaffolding manager and Craig Lawrence Morrison supervisor for arranging an overseeing the works.
