Kensington Go Walkabout

The Morrison Kensington team have been getting out and about into their community recently to put a little fun into the lives of local residents.

Colleagues from the Kensington team recently attended two fun day events  held on the Lancaster West and Silchester Estates in collaboration with the  respective Resident Associations. Both days were well attended with  entertainment in the form of steel and drum bands as well as an energetic  Zumba dance session in the middle of the estate on Lancaster West. This activity was very popular and saw a number of adults join in; much to the amusement of the younger visitors.

Silchester RA then organised a BBQ and a number of fitness activities and competitions for children to round off what was a thoroughly enjoyable day. Morrison supplied the soft drinks for both events as well as a donation  towards the raffle. Mary White from the Silchester RA said: “I would like to thank Morrison very much for buying the drinks for Saturday. Everyone had a good time despite the weather and it was good to have Morrison around at  the event as well.”
