Morrison Gives Tenants the Royal Treatment

Morrison made sure tenants from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea contract got a warm welcome recently at a meet and greet event.

On a frosty December evening, residents of the KCTMO contract were invited along to Charles House on the Kensington High Street for a festive meet and greet evening co-hosted by the Tenant Management Organisation. The aim of the event was to give residents the chance to meet their Morrison points of contact in a relaxed and informal setting and get to know them and how things would be run and improved upon in their contract.

"We wanted to be available in person so that the residents could see we are an approachable and proactive team" commented Mobilisation Manager for KCTMO Mark McDermott, who represented Morrison at the evening together with Resident Liaison Managers John Barclay and Bernard De Mel.

The residents enjoyed a selection of tasty winter treats to eat and drink whilst being able to talk directly to both TMO and Morrison staff about any queries or concerns they had about the changes in management of the contract. The response about Morrison taking over was extremely positive and one of the most enthusiastic guests, Ms Helen Morris, Chairwoman of the over 50's club at the World's End Estate, said:

"we are very excited that we will be dealing with Morrison from now on and we have absolute confidence in their ability to provide an excellent level of service to our residents." Mary Clarke, Vice Chairman of the over 50's club, added "I have been impressed that Morrison staff have already made contact with us and attended one of our community meetings. We really appreciate the warm, personal touch we have received so far from Morrison and events like this are a great example of this."

Overall the event was a great reflection of the successful mobilisation of the KCTMO contract - well done to Chris Mahon, Mark and the team!
