MORRISON INVERNESS
Highlands School Project
As part of the Morrison commitment to the community, PFI has launched an initiative in the Highlands Schools Project where each school can draw on a fund to help promote sustainability within the local communities that Morrison are privileged to serve.
The Gaelic Primary School in Inverness was the first school to take up the offer and chose to have permanent cycling lanes established in the playground, enabling the school to carry out cycling proficiency training in a safe environment.
Both Martin Smith and Kevin Lyall who are responsible for the Gaelic Primary School agree that the benefits this brings is not just in safe cycling, but in encouraging fitness and carbon neutral transport in the children of today who will be the adults of tomorrow.
