Morrison Saves Client £250k

The London Borough of Havering has a private section leasing scheme (PSL), this is  where they lease and maintain properties throughout the borough on behalf of private landlords.

Following concerns relating to turnaround times, London Borough of Havering asked Morrison to pilot a scheme to improve their key to key vacancy time, by reducing the time spent preparing the properties for the next occupant.

Brian Ditsell the “Havering Contract” Principal Contract Manager together with the voids team have halved the turnaround time, from 38 days to 18 within 4 weeks.

This has been praised by the London Borough of Havering, during the voids team performance Board meeting, as the projected savings to the borough for additional rent recovery will be in the region of £250,000.
