Two Star Rating

The Hackney contract period is for 4 years and it commenced on 1^st October 2008 with a continuation review of the contract after 3 years.

Morrison is the main service provider for the measured term contract for General Building Works to the South Zone Contract Area of the London Borough of Hackney.

Recently the Audit Commission has just awarded Hackney Homes two star rating. Nemendra Singh, Partnering Contract Manager for Hackney was invited to the Hackney Homes Two Star reception on Wednesday 18^th February 09 at the Town Hall where he was joined by Hackney Homes residents, members of the Board, Council representatives, staff and representatives from housing and local organisations.

Resident feedback to Hackney Homes has been very good since the introduction of Morrison and a very strong working partnership with Hackney Homes has been built.

Morrison have also been awarded major project works with the Community halls in Hackney which started off early February 09 as well as major and minor voids.

Recently Morrison has been working with Hackney Homes on refurbishing properties for re-let which has been vacant for a number of years.
