Macmillan Cancer Donations

Midland Heart staff have been busy raising money and awareness for the Macmillan Cancer Charity.

Firstly the staff contributed by buying invitation books that included money off vouchers for local retailers, bars and restaurants. The commission from these book purchases came to £52 which was donated to the charity.

Secondly Midland Heart staff held a ‘Guess the Baby’ competition. Staff were asked to bring in a picture of themselves as babies or toddlers, these photographs were then placed on a sheet for staff to try and guess who they were and put names against each photo. To enter the competition it cost £1 and a grand total of £68 was raised for the Macmillan Cancer Charity.

The winner of the ‘Guess the Baby’ competition was Julie Ketley an administrator from Midland Heart. Julie’s prize was an Easter egg, which she then kindly raffled off to raise more money for charity.
