Due to our continued success and rapid growth we are currently looking to recruit a Safety Health and Environmental Advisor to join our team.

 The post holder will be responsible to the Head of SH&E Support and the Regional Partnering Directors for the effective monitoring of safety, health and environmental policy, procedures and safe systems.  You will advise and support the operational line management in all SH&E matters while ensuring the business achieves its targets and objectives through the monitoring and recording of performance.  You will be involved in accident and incident investigation and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence and notify the HSE in respect of RIDDOR accidents. 

The ideal candidate will possess or be able to demonstrate as a minimum requirement, the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Hold NEBOSH Certificate – Diploma in Occupational Health Safety and Environment or be working towards qualification
  • Member of IOSH
  • Planning and organising programmes for site inspections and audits.
  • Working with Trade Union representatives and external bodies, operations and other support personnel, and Head of SHE Support
  • The ability to influence and motivate employees to optimise their personal SH&E performance within their work activities
  • Excellent communications skills and sound IT knowledge
  • Possess a clean driving licence
  • Be willing to travel to various locations and work flexible hours.
