What is partnering?

Morrison has significant experience in the development of innovative partnering solutions with public sector organisations. The nature of these arrangements range from semi formal collaborative relationships, incentivised long term partnership and formal joint ventures. All are characterised as a collaborative relationships based on trust, openness and shared values - the components that lie at the core of the partnership approach.

VanEffective partnerships succeed when the interests of both parties become commercially aligned, possibly from culturally diverse roots, incentives are created for both parties to develop a detailed understanding of the others business, and to seek ways in which value can be added to the partners organisation. For example long term fixed income streams could be the reward to a private sector partner who can contribute to the public sector partner’s business by providing long term capital investment, knowledge and skilled resource in the provision of a responsive business support services.

The principles of incentivised service delivery, with financial rewards linked to levels of measured performance, and the adoption of open book accounting approaches are two key features of typical partnering agreements.

Morrison Facilities Services responds pro-actively to clients’ progressive goals and challenges. Through mutual discussion of ideas and possible solutions, the company helps develop innovative improvements in service provision.
