We work with our customers and partners to monitor power consumption across all their sites, install energy reporting systems and develop energy saving approaches.

Energy and fuel are our biggest carbon impacts, and we’re working hard to reduce unnecessary usage. As a business, we have set a goal of an annual 5% reduction in energy use, as well as educating our customers in reducing their use.

We procure from energy-efficient suppliers, and ideally those who can source energy from renewable sources.

Our Opti-time appointments system helps us schedule work to reduce mileage. Our vehicle procurement now emphasises better fuel consumption and CO2 emission performance. We are piloting the use of LPG and hybrid fuels to reduce carbon impacts.
